JOB DESCRIPTION: • Key account management for Sales. • Material handling (Robotics, Automated guided vehicle-AGV, Assembly line, end of line, inline vision based projects) • Sales forecasting, Pro-active market analysis, including information about customers & competitors. • Managing & meeting Organizational sales goals. • Leading the Team, work Distribution, work Planning. • Managing existing & new generated RFQs, making techno-commercial offers. • Understand customer’s requirements – visit customer shop floor to grasp the existing process and customer requirements, be able to read customer drawings, layouts, Process sheets, standards. • To interpret customer’s enquiry documents, prepare conceptual designs and draft technical responses using AutoCAD, Word, PowerPoint & Excel, to tight, customer specified, deadlines • To estimate Takt & Cycle Times, Concept Layouts, Tentative BOM, define scope of supply and float RFQ’s to Mechanical and Electrical teams and get required details • To use simulation software for quick feasibility study (Added advantage) • Be aware of latest automation products and technologies – sensors, actuators, material handling concepts, robots. • Generate technically & commercially feasible solutions based on sound fundamental engineering principles & with the help of process & design team. • Detailed costing of the project & preparation of proposal document • Undertake ongoing technical and commercial clarifications, requested by the customer, throughout the life of the proposal, and support the Sales team through to successful order placement. • Follow up for purchase orders, make order acceptance and timely collection of payments. • Project handover for project execution team/project team. • Maintain and regularly update the inquiry list and status of projects, regularly contact customers. • Strong analytical and planning skills. OTHERS • Frequent visits to customer sites for business development & to study/understand requirement. • Must be able to deliver proposals/respond to customer needs at short notice and be able to work within tight deadline. Job Skills: • Robotics and automation exposure • Understand design concepts, basics of GD&T • Good ability to develop and hand-sketch concepts and communicate clearly to customers • Robotic Process exposure in Spot Welding, Arc welding and machine tending is a must. Any other process knowledge is an added advantage • Basic control system knowledge (PLC, communication protocols, I/O’s, etc.) is a must • Should have a fair knowledge on automation cell safety • Robot operation/programming is an added advantage • Robot Simulation capability • Must meticulously update the Inquiry List, Proposals List, Data Collection Formats • Technical communication
